James Quertermous, M.D.
Dr. James Quertermous, M.D. is a Kentucky native, joining Lakeside Dermatology in 2015. He graduated summa cum laude from Samford University with a B.S. degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish. Dr. Quertermous underwent medical training at the University of Louisville graduating with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following medical school, he completed an internship at Rush University Medical Center before moving to Ann Arbor, Michigan to complete dermatology residency training at the University of Michigan Health System.
Dr. Quertermous is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), as well as, the American Society for Dermatological Surgery (ASDS). Dr. Quertermous practices both medical and surgical dermatology holding special expertise in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer as well as topical and systemic therapies for diseases such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.”
Please note that effective August 1st, 2017, Dr. Quertermous will be on leave for 1 year while he completes a Mohs fellowship program.
